Good morning, Paradise Resort! Hope everyone is having a beautiful day as always. I want to start this post off by giving a big thank you to all service members past and present. Without your dedication and sacrifice our country would not be what it is today. It is because of all of you that we get enjoy such a beautiful continent. With that being said let’s get to some announcements.
1. McAllen Pest Control – If you have not had your home sprayed for bugs and pest and are still interested in doing so, we have scheduled McAllen Pest control to come do a bulk spraying on November 27th. If you are wanting to get signed up you can contact us here at the office, additionally we will have a sign-up sheet hanging on the office window. If you are not in the park but want to still get your house sprayed before you get down here contact me and I will make sure your property gets sprayed. Deadline to sign up will be on the 24th. McAllen Pest Control has a 6-month warranty included with their spraying which means if you see bugs on your lot after the spray within that 6-month window they will come back out and re-spray for free. The current prices are as follows which already includes taxes.

2. Renting out Units – Just wanted to share a reminder that we understand things happen where you may not be able to come down, or maybe you want to rent your unit out to make a couple extra bucks when you are not here. We completely encourage you to do so but please remember you are responsible to turn in your renter’s information, and ensure that they are above the minimum age of 55 years old. We do not require a background check unless a renter is going to stay in the park longer than 6 months. We do have renter forms that you can fill out and submit in the office. If you have any questions about this please don’t hesitate to ask us questions.
3. Veteran's Day Parade – Just a reminder that there will be a Veteran's Day Ceremony and Parade tomorrow November 11th @ 10am. Everyone will start meeting here in the hall for cookies and coffee and the ceremony. Afterwards everyone will gather outside in their golf carts and proceed to have the parade around the park. Once again thank you to everyone who may have loved ones that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
